Thank you guys \(;A;)/
I sure hope I’ll get everything done asap.
“Sounds great.” he said, smiling. Past the rest of the couples, the beverage table was loaded, especially with wines. “Don’t think I’ll be having any alcohol.” Piers observed. “Anything I can get you?” he offered. “Some of those do look good.”
“Well, I’d like to get a glass of wine but since I’m here by car I guess I’ll have to pass. I can’t force you to drive me home after this or anything.” Chris chuckled softly and looked at the table. “Maybe I could take something that doesn’t include alcohol?” He muttered quietly and bit his lip. “Any ideas?”
“Oh, of course. I’ve got some brewed in my room already— follow me.” The sniper strode towards his bedroom, his captain following steadily behind him at an equal pace. It didn’t take long for the two men to get to the small, dorm-like room, and even less time was required for a steaming cup of coffee to be poured for the older. “Two scoops of sugar, right?”
“Yes, exactly.” Chris nodded with a smile. He knew it was going to take a while before he would get used to the fact, that the young man in front of him knew him and his past even better than the man itself.
“I’m glad that you’re here.” Captain said softly and glanced at Piers’ eyes. Yet again he felt how a piece of memory ran through his brain, making him bite his lip.
“Well hey, makes you appreciate the people in your life who don’t ask dumb questions.” Leon cocked his head a smirk playing on his features. “And what if I wanted to know for curiosity’s sake?”
And how the tables had turned, before Leon had been in Chris’ hands, now it was the Captain’s turn.
“I’m sure I can work something out…” He glanced back to the tv for a brief moment and instantly regretted it. His hands shot over his face and made a string of noises that sounded as though they were derived from ‘nope’.
“Yeah, I guess so.” Chris murmured and yawned softly, still keeping that small smile on his lips. “What if I’m not gonna tell you? Oh, you can always try to make me speak, but there’s no guarantees that I’d actually say anything.” He scratched his chin with a playful grin on his face.
Chris lifted his eyebrow and tilted his head. “Leon, are you alright?” He asked with a slightly concerned tone, looking at the younger man. “Should I turn off the TV?”
